Job summary

Morgan Stanley in New York is seeking an experienced professional to build and manage client portfolios for OCIO UHNW and Single Family Office clients. You will lead asset allocation, manager selection, portfolio construction, risk management and ongoing monitoring.

You will educate clients on gifting strategies in UHNW planning, understand downstream implications on asset allocation and cash flow, and collaborate with internal advisors to win new assets.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of investment-related experience in wealth management or investment consulting.
• Strong tax, trust, and estate planning knowledge.
• Experience modeling UHNW planning and tax optimization.
• Familiarity with wealth management platforms and investment vehicles.
• Knowledge of global capital markets and asset classes.
• Solid portfolio management concepts and risk management understanding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
• High professional accountability.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage portfolios for OCIO UHNW and SFO clients across asset allocation, manager selection, and risk monitoring.
• Educate clients on gifting techniques in UHNW planning and impact on cash flow.
• Collaborate with internal advisors and OCIO business development to win new assets.
• Ensure administrative and operational activities run smoothly with custodians and reporting.
• Prepare and deliver quarterly client reporting and investment policy statements.
