Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced investment professional for its OCIO team in New York. You will build and manage portfolios for UHNW clients, overseeing asset allocation, manager selection, and risk monitoring while coordinating reporting and client communications.

Required 6–8 years in wealth management or investment consulting, undergraduate degree, and FINRA series 7/66 after hire; CFA/CAIA preferred. Strong MS Office skills and leadership qualities are essential.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree is required.
  • Graduate degree, CFA, CAIA preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 required after hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage client portfolios for OCIO UHNW and Single Family Office clients.
  • Asset allocation, manager selection, portfolio construction, risk management, and monitoring.
  • Educate clients on UHNW gifting techniques and planning implications.
  • Engage with clients for discovery, draft investment policy statements, and provide reporting.
  • Coordinate with custodians, trading, and operations for smooth client service.
  • Collaborate with advisors and business development to win new assets.
  • Create intellectual capital for client engagement on relevant topics.
