Job summary

Wealthspire, a leading wealth management firm with offices in Boca Raton, FL, Melville, NY, and New York City, seeks an experienced Family Office Accounting Manager to oversee the comprehensive financial records for ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Reporting to the Director of Family Office Accounting, this role will supervise junior staff, manage cashflow, and produce detailed financial reports while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance across banking and payroll

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance (or relevant Master's)
• CPA designation preferred
• 7+ years of related experience
• Expert in QuickBooks accounting and Bill.com
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Roll up your sleeves work ethic and team player
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute all accounting functions for select ultra-high-net-worth clients.
• Liaise with internal service teams and maintain relationships with high-profile clientele.
• Oversee cashflow planning including budgeting and forecasting.
• Review and provide timely financial reports and analyses.
• Oversee asset movement within the department and reconciliations.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and projects as required.
• Implement and oversee client household payroll.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior staff.
