Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC seeks an experienced RFID Development Engineer to design, prototype, and test UHF Gen2 RFID antennas for labels and tags. You will work with internal teams and external partners to advance RFID product offerings and ensure high-performance solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, suppliers, and R&D to define specifications, analyze data, and drive next-generation RFID products, including certification coordination with ARC Labs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Prior experience with RFID applications (reader systems, components, and labels) is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge and experience with UHF RFID inlay antenna design is a key requirement.
• Knowledge of Automatic Identification Data Capture (AIDC) and RFID encoding solutions.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and test RFID antennas for labels and tags.
• Develop expertise in UHF RFID Inlay technology and global product offerings.
• Support R&D efforts by utilizing laboratory facilities to characterize RFID antenna designs.
• Troubleshoot technical product issues related to performance, encoding, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define product specifications and inlay solutions.
