UHC United Hospital Center in West Virginia seeks a student Respiratory Therapist or trainee to provide evaluation and care for respiratory therapy patients under supervision of a licensed therapist. You will assist with oxygen therapy, nebulizers, MDI delivery, and basic patient monitoring.
Qualification includes holding a WV Student Respiratory Care Permit and obtaining BLS within 30 days of hire. The role is on-site with a 4-hour weekly schedule and collaborative team involvement in patient
Provides evaluation of and care for respiratory therapy patients under the direct supervision of a licensed registered or certified respiratory therapist.
Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided:
WV: Student Respiratory Care Permit through the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care
Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
