UHC United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect blood and other specimens, label samples, and operate basic lab equipment with strong patient communication. Schedule will primarily include weekends, with potential additional shifts to meet department needs.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma; phlebotomy certification (CPT) preferred and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience. Local travel between facilities may be required.

Responsible for blood and blood culture collection; non-blood specimen collection including urine, sputum, semen samples, throat swabs; chain of custody specimen collection. Perform venipunctures and skin punctures competently and expediently.
