Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced UH-60 A&P Mechanic to support aircraft maintenance operations in Sanford, FL. The role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and heavy maintenance to keep aircraft airworthy and mission-ready.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Minimum 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Previous UH-60 maintenance experience required.
• Experience performing phase or heavy maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance or MRPT.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and repairs
• Conduct annual inspections and routine maintenance activities
• Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structural and mechanical components
• Perform rigging, flight control, hydraulic, and engine-related maintenance
• Inspect aircraft systems and components for airworthiness
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft discrepancies
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical data, and engineering documentation
• Complete maintenance records in accordance with FAA and company requirements

Work Environment

This position is based at Sanford International Airport supporting military aircraft maintenance operations. Technicians work in a structured maintenance environment focused on aircraft readiness, safety, and quality. The team supports ongoing maintenance and inspection activities while working closely with experienced aviation professionals and program leadership.
