Job summary

The DC Army National Guard seeks a UH-60 Utility Helicopter Repairer to supervise and perform maintenance on Black Hawk helicopters, ensuring aircraft remain safe and mission-ready. You\'ll oversee inspections, service, and subsystem maintenance to keep aircraft airworthy.

Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 15 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with paid instruction and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be enlisted in the Army National Guard.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ages 17–35.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal/moral standards.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls.
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Assist in diagnosing/troubleshooting.
