Job summary

The National Guard seeks a UH-60 Utility Helicopter Repairer to supervise and perform maintenance on Black Hawk aircraft, ensuring safety and readiness for tomorrow’s missions. You’ll be hands-on with inspections, servicing, and subsystem upkeep in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Training paths include Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training, building expertise in engine, hydraulic, electrical systems, and airframe components, with civilian career pathways after service.

Qualifications

• Preference in mathematics and shop mechanics.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Interest in aircraft maintenance and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks
• Assist in diagnosing/troubleshooting
