Job Title: Regional Account Manager

Reports to: EVP, Sales & Strategic Partnerships
Position Summary: The Regional Account Manager will be successful in leadership and direction to your assigned stores in their region, supervising the store managers, maximizing store performance, sales, operations, productivity, and implementing all corporate initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Economically plan your schedule, provide constructive guidance and review operational and sales performance
- Become an expert at monitoring store sales and payroll performance and initiate action plans to achieve company goals
- Be the example of world-class customer service ensuring that the customer always comes first
- Execute shrinkage reduction programs within the region.
- Execute company procedures for new hires, promotions and all other status changes through the EVP, Sales & Strategic Partnerships, the corporate HR team, and the Senior Director of Operations.
- Lead and coach store managers, working alongside them to understand the unique environment in each store
- Observe Store Managers properly to formally review their performance semi-annually
- Create a “team” atmosphere within your region
- Communicate store specific merchandise to the Director of Procurement
- Execution of all merchandise presentation guidelines
- Understand the importance, prompt, and accurate completion of markdowns, price changes and store promotions
- Coordinate and execute new store openings
- Create lasting relationships with campus contacts
- Communicate with the EVP, Sales & Strategic Partnerships to develop new business in your region
Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ years of multi-store retail management experience with progressively more responsibility
- 7+ years’ experience staffing and leading high performing, customer focused retail sales teams
- Demonstrated
technical
expertise
in
point-of-sale
systems
and
troubleshooting
POS
issues - Broad
range
of
product
knowledge
including
apparel,
hardgoods
and
tech
accessories
a plus - Experience
working
with
institutions
of
higher
education
a
plus - Proficiency
in
Microsoft
Office
products
including
Team
Business
Voice
technology

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or related field preferred
Salary: $75,000 per year
