Job summary

General Matter in Los Angeles is seeking a UF₆ Enrichment System Operator. This role will lead the development of operational procedures and support R&D while ensuring safety in facility operations. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in uranium enrichment or nuclear fuel cycle operations.
• Experience supporting commissioning or startup in a regulated facility.
• Demonstrated ability to develop operator training programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of facility Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
• Support and lead R&D and pilot-scale enrichment operations.
• Serve as operations representative during design reviews and commissioning.

Skills

Operational experience with UF₆ handling systems

Understanding of nuclear safety culture

Ability to interpret P&IDs

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
