Job summary

California Natural Products (CNP) is seeking a UF Evaporator Operator for the 3rd shift to join the Ingredient Department. You will operate and monitor UF/Evaporator systems, ensure product quality, and support basic equipment maintenance in a GMP-compliant environment.

Responsibilities include recording process parameters, performing CIP/COP cleaning, processing batches, and assisting with minor repairs. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and forklift certification for safe

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification.
• Ability to operate and monitor production equipment safely.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of pumps, valves, piping, and related systems.
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and process requirements.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor UF/Evaporator process systems and equipment.
• Record critical process parameters and take corrective action when needed.
• Prepare and process product batches to required specifications.
• Perform product testing, including Brix, pH, and temperature checks.
• Verify and track ingredients and maintain quality standards.
• Perform CIP/COP cleaning of tanks, product lines, silos, and other equipment.
• Complete basic preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and work orders.
• Assist maintenance mechanics with major repairs and changeovers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked work area.
• Communicate safety, quality, equipment, and production issues to the team.
• Follow GMP, GFSI, food safety, quality, and plant safety standards.
