Job summary

Evolution Fresh, a Generous Brands company, is seeking an Automation Technician for its Rancho Cucamonga, CA facility. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting plant automation systems, supporting new automation projects, and ensuring safety and quality in production processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years automation experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with SCADA/HMI and Rockwell PLC programming.
• Knowledge of Rockwell Automation products and instrumentation.
• Ability to read schematics/technical drawings and test instruments.
• Familiar with safety procedures, PPE and lockout/tagout.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and troubleshoots plant automation systems and equipment.
• Supports implementation of new automation projects with limited supervision.
• Performs periodic maintenance of automation control systems and hardware.
• Assists Engineering with updates and testing of modifications.
• Contributes to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensures attendance and punctuality; works variable shifts as needed.
