Job description

In this position…

You’ll help deliver Ford’s next-generation UEV platform by coordinating electrical hardware and embedded software readiness from concept through production.
You’ll work within a small, fast-moving team with broad cross-functional and leadership exposure. The ideal candidate brings strong program-management skills and enough electrical or software experience to connect technical teams, identify risks, and drive issues to closure. This position is open to multiple salary grades, SG5-SG8 depending on experience.

What you’ll do...
  • Support electrical hardware and software integration planning across vehicle systems, modules, interfaces, and key program milestones.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program timing, deliverables, dependencies, dashboards, and program health reporting to improve visibility and drive on-time delivery.
  • Maintain visibility to software releases, hardware and software compatibility, calibration maturity, vehicle configurations, and validation readiness.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resolution of integration risks, open issues, decisions, and action items among Electrical, Software, Systems Engineering, Validation, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Suppliers, Finance, and Program Management, driving accountable owners and next steps through closure.
  • Prepare and support milestone reviews, decision approval forums, program steering meetings, and leadership updates with clear status, risk, and decision materials.
  • Support prototype builds, launch, and production readiness by aligning required hardware, software, calibrations, configurations, validation plans, build deliverables, and issue resolution.
  • Manage electrical hardware and software change-control activities, assessing compatibility, configuration, validation, sourcing, and downstream timing impacts to protect program quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Develop and articulate a clear point of view using available data, technical inputs, and program priorities in a highly collaborative environment.
You’ll have...
  • An Associate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Program Management, or a related discipline—or another discipline paired with relevant program management or technical experience.
  • At least two years of experience supporting program management, electrical systems, embedded software, systems integration, validation, or vehicle program delivery.
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage detailed technical information, dependencies, and competing priorities independently.
  • Knowledge of vehicle development milestones, deliverables, and forward-model program execution.
  • Experience managing program timing, dependencies, risks, issues, and change control to support on-time delivery, prototype builds, and production readiness.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functions and drive issues and actions to closure without direct authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical information into clear program and leadership updates
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and challenging situations.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to drive decisions and issue resolution and clearly report program status to stakeholders and leadership
Even better, you may have…
  • A Bachelor’s of Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Program Management, or a related discipline—or another discipline paired with relevant program management or technical experience.
  • Four or more years of experience supporting program management workstreams or major forward-model vehicle programs.
  • Experience with vehicle electrical architecture, ECU integration, embedded software releases, calibrations, diagnostics, or over-the-air update processes.
  • Prior experience supporting Ford GPDS milestones, gateway reviews, prototype builds, launch execution, or plant vehicle team activities.
  • A passion for building new processes, solving complex integration challenges, and helping bring next-generation vehicle platforms to production.
