About the Role

We are looking for a talented UEFN Verse programmer to assist our backend team with scripting game mechanics. This is a code-intensive role requiring strong familiarity with Fortnite and Verse. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and artists to ensure our games are functional within Fortnite and UEFN.

Responsibilities
  • Write scripts using UEFN to connect front-end gameplay mechanics
  • Utilize Epic’s Verse programming language for Unreal Editor for Fortnite
  • Collaborate to design and implement engaging gameplay mechanics
  • Implement, debug, and support gameplay functionalities
  • Coordinate with art and design teams to refine gameplay features
  • Research new technologies to enhance game performance, visuals, or mechanics
  • Optimize and fix bugs to ensure a smooth user experience
  • Contribute ideas throughout the game development process
  • Write maintainable, clear code for ease of future modifications
