Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Take on a vital role within a world-class academic health system and help deliver life-saving surgical care to patients of all ages. In partnership with UCLA Health and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), we are seeking a Congenital Heart Surgeon to join our esteemed Department of Surgery, recognized nationally for clinical excellence, innovation, and compassionate care. This is a contract-based opportunity to perform complex congenital cardiac surgeries across both institutions.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including pediatric cardiologists, intensivists, perfusionists, and specialty-trained nursing staff.

Practice among two leading institutions - UCLA Health in Los Angeles and Children’s Hospital of Orange County - with access to state-of-the-art surgical suites and ICU resources.

Contribute to a high-volume program that emphasizes quality outcomes, continuous innovation, and compassionate care.

Participate in ongoing clinical and academic collaborations in an environment that supports excellence in patient care, teaching, and research.

The University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide an estimate of the salary range for this role.
