Description

Utility Crane & Equipment, based in Tolleson, is a dealership that primarily builds and services aerial bucket trucks in the Southwest.We are a business that cares for our customers and treats our employees well. Schedule:

  • Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.
  • Overtime may be required during peak periods.

Job Description

This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, qualifications, or working conditions associated with the job.

• Oversee receiving, storage, and shipping processes to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and following defined inventory procedures within the ERP system.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to warehouse staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipment of orders to meet customer expectations.
• Assemble and prepare build kits for production, ensuring accuracy and availability of required components.
• Identify inefficiencies, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to resolve issues and optimize warehouse performance.
• Receive and inspect all new equipment, parts and chassis.
• Perform other UCE Warehouse and TKW Warehouse duties as needed assigned by Production Manager.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
• Clear understanding of build kits, including component identification and assembly processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn ERP systems.
• Hold a valid driver license and meet driving qualifications
• Will need to be able to obtain a forklift certificate. Certification for forklift is completed through the company.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Position includes stooping, bending, kneeling, sitting, standing, climbing into trailer, ladder usage, lifting 50 pounds or more. Steel toe boots are required to work in this position. A shoe allowance is provided for safety shoes. The work environment is open and outdoors. The company will provide safety glasses and ear protection as work duties are done in a sometimes-noisy environment.
