Job summary

Platform Aerospace in Hollywood, MD is seeking a UAV Production Technician II to install, maintain, repair and assemble aircraft and related equipment. You will integrate payload configurations, perform modifications, and program UAV systems under minimal supervision.

The role requires reading technical drawings, using precision tools, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to resolve build issues.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2–5 years of relevant experience for Level II.
5–7 years of relevant experience for Level III.
Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Valid driver's license.
Proficiency with reading technical drawings and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

Perform complex assembly, testing, and integration of electromechanical components and subassemblies based on blueprints/drawings.
Perform system-level integration and functional testing of UAV systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot aircraft systems and subsystems.
Align, fit, and join components with precision tools.
Perform maintenance and modifications of aircraft structures and components.
Handle unmanned aviation ground operations.
Train and mentor Level I technicians.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve build issues.
