Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operator to pilot military drones in support of tactical operations. You will gather and relay intelligence on enemy forces and battle areas to your crews.

The role includes conducting air reconnaissance, planning flights, and performing preflight through post-flight checks, while learning to maintain communications gear and operate cranes and vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Age 17–35 required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct air reconnaissance, surveillance, targeting, and acquisition missions.
• Plan and analyze flight missions.
• Perform preflight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and procedures.
• Launch and recover airframe from runway.
• Maintain communications equipment and related gear.
