Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, coordinate ground and flight operations including mission planning, execution, briefing, debriefing; manage aircrew resources and safety. Serve as instructor/operator of assigned UAV(s).
- Actively participate in ground and flight operations, including mission planning, briefing, debriefing, aircrew resource management and safety.
- Possibly remotely pilot vehicles to determine compliance with specifications and operational suitability during engineering tests and flight test/demonstration support.
- Define, plan, organize, and execute flight programs and test events; ensure compliance with service guidance, company policy and FAA regulations.
- Conduct demonstrations and tests of assigned UAV(s).
- Represent the organization to military and commercial customers.
- Observe all applicable laws, regulations, and obligations wherever business is conducted on behalf of the company.
- Work safely following established operating procedures and practices; be familiar with Army forms, records, publications, and contractor flight and ground operations procedures (DCMA 8210).

Job Qualifications
- Typically requires completion of a four-year technical degree or trade school equivalency, or five+ years in UAV operation or aviation. Equivalent professional or military experience may substitute for education.
- Basic understanding of UAV and FAA principles, theories and concepts.
- Minimum six hundred (600) hours in an OSGCS/UGCS, including two hundred (200) hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Graduate of DA or DES IO course.
- Ability to travel on CONUS and OCONUS.
- Ability to maintain a FAA Class II flight physical.
- Good analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to interface with all levels of employees and customers, contractors and aircrew.
- Basic knowledge of computer operations and applications.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; ability to work extended hours and travel as required.

Salary range: 95,780 - 146,263
