Job summary

Padmore Global Connections LLC in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced UAT QA Manager to plan, track, and report on user acceptance testing activities. Local presence in Metro Atlanta and on-site work are required.

You will collaborate with technical and business teams to develop test strategies, manage defects, and deliver QA metrics. Experience with Quality Center, Jira, XRay, AWS testing, and mainframe testing is valued.

Qualifications

• 8 years experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA concepts.
• Experience with HP/Mercury Quality Center.
• Ability to manage defects and QA metrics.
• Mainframe testing knowledge is a plus.
• Jira and XRay experience; AWS testing experience.

Short Description:

UAT QA manager- Role will be responsible for Planning, Tracking and reporting the progress of User acceptance testing activities

Complete Description:

The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the SDLC and Software Quality Assurance concepts and best practices. (8) years experience in software testing. Also, the candidate must have proven working knowledge of testing methodologies and be able to manage defects and develop QA metrics. HP/Mercury Quality Center experience is required for this position. Mainframe programming, scripting or experience in test automation a plus.

Must have the ability to work closely with other teams, facilitate meetings and be able to interact with both technical and business team members.

The candidate must have working knowledge of supporting protocols that support software development efforts for mainframe and distributed environments.

Proficient in Software Testing techniques, methodologies and defect management.

Should know to run daily defect triage meetings and reporting

Hands-on experience in Jira and X Ray

Experience testing web applications in AWS.

In-depth knowledge developing test strategies and test plans for large complex systems.

Expert with creating test plans, developing test scenarios, and creating QA metrics and reports.

Demonstrated skills in facilitating and organizing test execution of test cases/scripts in a proficient manner.

Ability to identify gaps in test coverage to meet business requirements/needs.
