Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is seeking a Business Assurance Testing Analyst to lead UAT, plan tests, and coordinate with business and technical teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and readiness standards.

You will develop test strategies, manage defect tracking, and provide data-driven insights to guide release decisions while maintaining privacy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in test management, QA, UAT, or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing and executing test plans, cases, scripts, and defect/release reports.
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system and UAT testing.
• Ability to interpret requirements and translate into test scenarios and readiness criteria.
• Analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills; familiarity with test tools.

Responsibilities

• Leads business testing and UAT from planning to completion to ensure release readiness.
• Develops test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, and scenarios aligned to requirements.
• Coordinates UAT execution with business testers, SMEs, and technical teams.
• Identifies, tracks, escalates, and supports resolution of defects and risks.
• Ensures traceability of tests and evidence to business needs and audit requirements.
• Uses data analysis, dashboards, and reporting to monitor testing progress and trends.
• Communicates testing status and release recommendations to stakeholders.
• Upholds privacy and compliance as per corporate policies.
