Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a UAT Test Specialist to ensure integrity and traceability of test scripts across the Legal Tools Program lifecycle. You will manage versions, environments, and data for UAT execution, coordinating with Business Analysts, end users, and project teams to meet testing needs.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining UAT scripts, aligning with requirements, and ensuring auditability. Strong collaboration and compliance with DOJ security requirements are required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in information systems.
• Education will be counted as experience if degree is in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or if a two (2) year accredited vocational training program was completed in information technology or related field.
• Associate’s Degree (or 2-year vocational training) = Two (2) Years.
• Bachelor's Degree = Four (4) Years.
• Master's Degree = Six (6) Years.
• Comprehensive knowledge, and experience in translating business requirements into effective user-focused tests and leading user acceptance testing.
• Finalists must pass a comprehensive employment reference check and fingerprint-based criminal background check.
• A driver history check will be included for positions requiring state vehicle driving privileges.
• Must agree to comply with DOJ security and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity, consistency, and traceability of UAT scripts to user stories, system configurations, and release artifacts across the project lifecycle.
• Manage versions, change documentation and collaborate with system administrators on environment stability and auditability.
• Develop, manage, and maintain UAT test scripts to validate product delivery requirements.
• Prepare and manage data required for UAT execution with accuracy and alignment to project needs.
• Keep team informed about configuration changes and environment readiness.
• Maintain configuration baselines to preserve system integrity across its lifecycle.
• Support environment consistency and data alignment to enable reliable testing, deployment, and auditability.
• Coordinate and communicate test script work with Business Analysts, end users, and project team members.
