Job summary

Programmers.io in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an experienced UAT Lead to manage complex user acceptance testing across multi-system integrations. You will drive release readiness, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure quality across sales-related processes.

Responsibilities include creating test automation for UAT, developing release documentation, and leading end-to-end UAT activities with IS&T and business partners to achieve timely, defect-free releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading UAT for complex, integrated projects.
• Understanding of sales and sales operations processes is highly preferred.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Iterative models; Agile environment is a must.
• Hands-on Salesforce platform experience preferred.
• Knowledge of test automation framework design and Playwright is desired.
• Strong project management knowledge and lifecycle awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels.
• Able to facilitate lessons learned sessions with business and IT groups.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functionally and drive results.
• Experience on projects with teams outside the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate successful release of system enhancements from development to production.
• Create and maintain test automation for UAT features in BPR deliveries.
• Develop Release processes and documentation to minimize customer impact during changes.
• Manage end-to-end UAT activities including process, coordination, and test result communication.
• Lead cross-functional teams to support each Release project plan and post-release reviews.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand business requirements and ensure testability.
• Develop test strategy, plans, cases, scripts, and reports across multiple projects.
• Create and maintain UAT data and metrics (SLAs and KPIs).
• Identify UAT risks and communicate them to Project Management.
• Coordinate smoke testing, sales environment planning, and PROD refreshes.
• Coordinate triage calls and drive issues to closure with IS&T and business partners.
• Build UAT knowledge base and share templates and best practices.

Job description

• 8+ years of experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as a test lead for complex, highly integrated projects.
• Understanding of sales and sales operations processes in consumer channel sales or similar environment is highly preferred.
• Well versed in multiple styles of Release and Change Management processes including Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Iterative; Experience in an Agile environment is a must.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform is preferred.
• Understanding of test automation framework design models and best practices including type scripting, Playwright and have worked on MCP with AI savy mindset.
• Solid understanding of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
• Ability to facilitate brainstorming sessions to gather lessons learned from implementation with business and BPR, and Information Technology group.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to influence others (horizontally and vertically) to instill accountability to achieve results.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate successful release of system enhancements / new functionalities from development to production.
• Create and maintain test automation for the features getting delivered in UAT for your assigned projects in BPR.
• Create Release processes and documentation to minimize customer impact during changes Management of end-to-end UAT activities including test process management, team coordination and communication of test results.
• Lead cross-functional team to support each Release project plan and post Release/Change review and coach other PM’s.
• Work closely with project team to understand business requirements.
• Review requirements document to ensure that requirements are testable.
• Develop test strategy, test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size.
• Create and maintain the test data for UAT scripts.
• Create, maintain, and report UAT metrics including SLAs and KPIs.
• Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
• Document and communicate UAT related risks to Project Management.
• Coordinate smoke testing, facilitate sales environment planning and PROD refreshes, and review master data flows.
• Facilitate triage calls and drive issues to resolution with IS&T and business partners to get closure on open issues.
• Create and maintain overall UAT knowledge.
• Provide UAT best practices and templates; Incorporate lessons learned to improve test planning and execution.
