Job summary

The City of Colorado Springs is seeking a Program Administrator II to lead the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) program administration and grant compliance within the Office of Emergency Management. You will collaborate with emergency management, law enforcement, fire, public health, and other partners to plan, implement, and sustain projects tied to terrorism preparedness.

This at-will, grant-funded position runs through June 30, 2028 with potential continuation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of professional experience in a related field, including two years of administrator and/or supervisory experience.
• Strong grant administration and compliance knowledge.
• Experience with multi-agency governance and senior-level meetings.
• Proficient with grant management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership on UASI program administration and grant compliance.
• Coordinate full grant lifecycle from planning to closeout.
• Maintain governance records and meeting minutes.
• Manage multiple grant-funded projects and reporting.
• Develop and deliver guidance and training on UASI processes.
• Represent PPROEM on committees and with partner agencies.
