Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on field technician to support flight test events for autonomous unmanned aircraft. You will assist engineering with design, development, testing, and troubleshooting in fast-paced test environments.

The role requires experience with UAS operations, aviation fundamentals, and test range operations, plus the ability to read schematics and work with basic networking. A secret clearance and military experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active US secret security clearance required.
• Military experience preferred.
• Experience with UAS operations, aviation fundamentals, mission planning, and test ranges.
• 2+ years in field service of aircraft or UAS operations or maintenance.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer networking knowledge.
• Ability to understand schematic diagrams.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
• 2 years post‑Secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
• Active US secret security clearance

• Experience with UAS operations, aviation fundamentals, mission planning, and test range operations
• 2+ years’ experience in a field service of aircraft or UAS operations or maintenance
