Job summary

Platform Aerospace in the United States is seeking a UAS Technician II-III for Field Operations to install, maintain and repair aircraft and sensor systems in an OCONUS environment. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of aircraft systems and subsystems, routine and preventive maintenance, and the ability to diagnose issues on engines and avionics, with up to 100% travel including CONUS and OCONUS.

Contract or full-time, reports to the Field Operations Manager, and requires a DoD Secret

CLEARANCE TYPE: SECRET

This position may be filled as a full-time employee or 1099 Contractor depending on business needs and candidate fit.

Job Summary Under Indirect Supervision in an OCONUS environment, responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all aircraft and related equipment. Responsible for monitoring, testing, preventive maintenance, and repair of infrastructure equipment and associated electrical, mechanical, and integration of sensor systems per specifications and operational procedures within Client technical facilities.

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to perform routine and preventative maintenance for aircraft systems/subsystems, and ground support equipment
• Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting engines, flight controls, avionics, technology, and associated system components
• Knowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniques
• Familiar with military aviation operations
• Up to 100% CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required
• Must currently possess and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret level security clearance
• May be required to drive a vehicle with a manual gearshiftBasic Requirements for a Level III * High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of relevant experience
