Job summary

Platform Aerospace is seeking a Level II/III aircraft maintenance technician to operate under indirect supervision in an OCONUS environment, performing installation, maintenance and repair of aircraft and related equipment.

You will monitor, test, troubleshoot engines, flight controls and avionics, handle UAV launch/recovery and ground support, and ensure safety and compliance with military procedures. Travel up to 100% CONUS/OCONUS may be required; DoD security clearances are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years of relevant experience (Level II).
  • Valid driver''s license.
  • Ability to perform routine and preventative maintenance for aircraft systems/subsystems and ground support equipment.
  • Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting engines, flight controls, avionics, technology, and associated system components.
  • Knowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniques.
  • Familiar with military aviation operations.
  • Up to 100% CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
  • Must currently possess and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance; must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • May be required to drive a vehicle with a manual gearshift.

Job description

Under Indirect Supervision in an OCONUS environment, responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all aircraft and related equipment. Responsible for monitoring, testing, preventive maintenance, and repair of infrastructure equipment and associated electrical, mechanical, and integration of sensor systems per specifications and operational procedures within Client technical facilities.
