Base pay range

$400.00/daily - $650.00/daily

About The Opportunity

Rockaway Home Care is hiring Per Diem Registered Nurses (RNs) and Outpatient Nurses to support our growing patient population throughout Queen's, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Nassau County. Whether you're looking to supplement your income or find a flexible community-based nursing role, we offer a supportive environment and meaningful work in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home or community-based assessments
• Perform head-to-toe evaluations including medication and diagnosis review
• Complete aide supervisions and provide clinical guidance
• Develop and update personalized Plans of Care (POC)
• Provide orientation to aides based on the POC
• Accurately document findings and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
  
  
  

Requirements

• Current New York State RN license
• Ability to travel throughout the 5 boroughs, Nassau, and Suffolk
• Medical Professional Liability insurance
• Comfortable using Gmail, Microsoft Word/Excel, and UAS-NY (for home care roles)
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish/English
• Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, or MLTC plans
• Experience in outpatient nursing, home care, or community health
• Proficiency in the UAS-NY platform
• Strong documentation and communication skills
