  • Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting engines, flight controls, avionics, technology, and associated system components.
  • Knowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniques.
  • Ability to travel 75% CONUS & OCONUS.
  • Must currently possess and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret level security clearance.
  • May be required to drive a vehicle with a manual gearshift.

JOB SUMMARY

Under Indirect Supervision, the UAS Maintenance Technician/Instructor III will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all aircraft and related equipment. This role will be responsible for monitoring, testing, preventive maintenance, and repair of infrastructure equipment and associated electrical, mechanical, and integration of sensor systems per specifications and operational procedures within Client technical facilities. The Technician will serve as an instructor, providing technical training and hands-on instruction to internal personnel and/or customers on UAS systems operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures to ensure safe and effective performance in the field.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Hight school diploma or GED and 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Valid driver's license

  • Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting engines, flight controls, avionics, technology, and associated system components
  • Knowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniques

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Military flight experience is highly desirable
  • Experience in deployed UAS ISR operations
  • Composite, structural, and mechanical repair experience
