Job summary

Akima, LLC is seeking a UAS Instructor Operator - Gray Eagle to work in Sierra Vista, Arizona. In this role, you will provide instruction in academics, flight simulators, and live flight operations to train personnel in the operation of the Gray Eagle UAS.

The ideal candidate has operational flying experience, specifically on the Gray Eagle, and will perform as an Instructor Operator supporting UAS Flight operations. Strong qualifications in military aviation procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Gray Eagle MQ-1C UAS.
• At least four years’ operational flying experience within the last five years.
• 200 hours on the Gray Eagle UAS.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for Gray Eagle UAS operation in academics and live flight.
• Conduct training for personnel on tactical employment of the Gray Eagle UAS.
• Perform as an Instructor Operator in support of UAS Flight operations.
