Job summary

Beck’s Hybrids, a leading agri-tech company in Indiana, is offering a paid internship from May to August 2027 to support its Research Department in corn and soybean projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience in performance testing, breeding, molecular markers, transformation, and product development, with housing provided for the duration of the program.

The role requires current college enrollment, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel and work overtime.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a college student.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Safety-sensitive position; pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Seed preparation and planting support at Beck’s locations.
• Travel with staff to outlying locations for test plots.
• Collect early and mid-season agronomic notes.
• Assist in pollinating Beck’s corn breeding nursery.
• Support molecular marker and transformation labs.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
