Hull Services seeks a full-time Child and Youth Care Counsellor for its U13/Mountainside program. The role is focused on supporting children aged 9-13 with mental health and behavioral challenges using trauma-informed methods. Candidates should have relevant education and the ability to engage youth within a team-oriented therapeutic environment.

TheSpecializedU13 and Mountainside Programs are trauma-informed, relationship-based, intensivetreatment programsserving youth between the ages of 9 and 13. We use evidence-based treatment methods including, the NeurosequentialModel of Therapeutics (NMT), developedby Bruce D. Perry, M.D., Ph.D., into our therapeutic milieu-basedtreatment program.
We are looking for a full-time Child and Youth Care Counsellor. The schedule for this position requires flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and morning and/or evening shifts (shifts are generally 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.).
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, our Child and Youth Care Counsellors are an integral members of an interdisciplinary team which assesses, plans, implements and evaluates treatment programs for the children in our care.Our Counsellors participate in all facets of program life and are responsible for our youths’ daily care, treatment, health, nurturance, and supervision.

Salary Range: $48,024-$60,528
