Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Director-level U.S. ISG Core Compliance professional to support lessons learned and training programs across the Americas Compliance function.

You will partner with Legal & Compliance, Compliance Coverage, and business units to strengthen governance and program effectiveness. The role emphasizes regulatory priorities, certification processes and governance metrics across regions, with opportunities to drive automation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in compliance, legal, risk management or a related control function; institutional securities experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across regions and teams.
• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
• Sound judgment, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint.
• Ability to learn and leverage new technologies, systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate identification, analysis and communication of lessons learned from regulatory actions.
• Coordinate annual review of SEC, FINRA and NFA regulatory priorities.
• Support end-to-end training program delivery across business units.
• Provide cross-functional coordination to establish training populations and monitor completion.
• Manage annual regulatory certification processes and related verifications.
• Maintain complete program documentation and materials across SharePoint and Teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance, reporting and efficiency.
• Support gift & entertainment-related initiatives and monitoring.
• Assist with new regulatory requirements and department initiatives.
