Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly and energetic Warehouse Worker at our Methuen, MA location. You will operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift, load and unload containers, and ensure on-time deliveries while delivering courteous service to customers.

Responsibilities include preparing paperwork for deliveries, inspecting U-Box containers, maintaining a clean storage area, and participating in ongoing U-Haul education. Valid driver’s license and high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred.
• Adherence to local, state, and federal vehicular regulations while driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery and provide customer assistance, including upselling support items and using online dispatch systems.
• Prepare, receive and provide documentation for delivery or pickup of goods.
• Maintain the warehouse storage facility in a clean, dry, and secure condition.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
