Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a U-Box Customer Care Driver (CCR) in Buford, GA. You will operate a flatbed truck and forklift, load and unload storage containers, and transport them to local destinations while delivering friendly, courteous service.

You will join a safety‑minded team, complete U-Haul University training, and work on local routes with opportunities for growth. Applicants must have a clean driving record, a high school diploma or equivalent, a CDL and DOT certification.

As a CCR, you will be responsible for U-Box containers and ensuring that customers are provided with friendly and courteous service. U-Box Customer Care Driver Responsibilities:

• Operate a flatbed truck (training provided).
• Operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers for delivery.
• Transport storage containers to and from specified destinations, e.g., customers’ homes and businesses – local routes only.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clean motor vehicle driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Department of Transportation certification
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Must be 18 or older

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
