This role involves ensuring quality production of rubber gaskets while adhering to operational guidelines. The ideal candidate must be able to work during third shift hours and ensure machine efficiency. Additional training responsibilities may apply.

Job Description

Under direct supervision, using standard processes and continuous improvements, the Mold Machine Operator operates all injection molding machines producing rubber gaskets to be used in joining systems in a timely and efficient manner that meet the quality standards to ensure delivery of world-class products to Tyler Coupling customers

Qualifications:
Qualifications

• Operates all injection molding machines to produce rubber gaskets, both the Desma and Maplin machines.
• Must be able to work 3rd shift hours 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday and OT when required.
• Responsible for maintaining a constant watch on machine operations to ensure quality of product. Notifies the lead person or Supervisor of any possible machine malfunctions.
• May operate multiple machines at one time.
• Trains other operators as required.
• Dumps scrap container during shift.
• Cleans equipment at the close of each shift.
• Keeps the work area safe, clean and orderly at all times.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as needed.
