BGE, Inc. is hiring a TXDOT Utility Coordination Engineer to lead and manage utility coordination and SUE projects across public and private infrastructure programs. The role emphasizes QA/QC of field data, meetings, cost estimates, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Ideal candidates bring experience in utility relocation planning, strong communication, scheduling, and leadership skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders and teams across projects in Texas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Proficient in MicroStation and MS Office, Knowledgeable of Geopak.
• Strong communication, scheduling, problem-solving and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Project Manager for Utility Coordination/engineering projects.
• Overseeing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and utility coordination/engineering projects.
• Overseeing the preparation of existing SUE utility plans.
• QA/QC reviews of field data and deliverables.
• Conduct meetings, prepare agreements and cost estimates, review design plans and submittals.
• Designs and reviews utility relocation plans to comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
