Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking a vigilant Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for clients and staff across our Texas site.

You will patrol, observe and report hazards, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to all client requirements and post instructions. The role requires English communication skills, a valid Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Security License, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• MUST HAVE a Valid/Current State of Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Security License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capable of following complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in the company’s screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Must have open availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
