Job summary

Talent Search Pro seeks a mid-level associate attorney in Houston to independently manage a docket in catastrophic personal injury and related defense cases for insurers and large clients. 3–4 years’ experience is ideal; active Texas Bar license required.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of insurance defense or personal injury litigation experience.
• Active Texas State Bar license in good standing.
• Ability to manage a docket independently from day one.
• Experience defending and taking depositions of fact witnesses, experts and corporate representatives.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a docket of catastrophic personal injury, product liability, and construction defect defense cases.
• Defend and take depositions across Texas state and federal courts.
• Draft and respond to motions and discovery with a strategic defense posture.
• Present oral arguments in court at hearings and proceedings.
• Collaborate with a paralegal to build solid defenses.
• Maintain time-entry discipline and meet monthly billing hours.
