Job Summary

The Ramp Agent's duties include loading/unloading cargo, transporting cargo within terminals, assisting with aircraft pushback, connecting ground support equipment, and maintaining safety and security protocols. Routine cleaning and security monitoring may also be required.

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Operate ground support equipment safely.
• Sort and load cargo.
• Perform ground services like connecting/removing ground power.
• Assist with aircraft pushback and guiding.
• Maintain a secure work environment.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift heavy cargo (up to 50 lbs or more).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility for varied shifts, including weekends and nights.
• Mechanical aptitude for ground support equipment.
• Ability to pass background checks and security regulations.
• Attention to detail and safety commitment.
• Fluent in English.
• This position is covered by a union, requiring union membership and dues.
