Job Summary

The Lead Aircraft Appearance Agent oversees and participates in the cleaning and sanitization of aircraft interiors, ensuring compliance with airline and safety regulations. This role involves coordinating a team, assigning tasks, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining efficiency in turnaround times. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Compensation: $21.00/hourly

**This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union that requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.**

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with the cleaning of aircraft cabins, including seats, tray tables, lavatories, and galleys.
• Ensure compliance with airline standards, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assign tasks to cabin cleaning agents and monitor performance to maintain efficiency.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met before aircraft departure.
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and airline representatives regarding cleaning schedules and special requests.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
• Prior experience in aircraft cabin cleaning or a related field preferred.
• HS Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
• Must be at let 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
• Strong leadership, communication, and organization; ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
