Qualifications

• Some courses completed in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• NCECC credentials preferred but not required.
• Current qualifying letter, or ability to obtain a qualifying letter as required by North Carolina.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling of children.

Teacher Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction:
  • STEAM based innovative curriculum, Wonder Of Learning lesson plans are already prepared and very easy to use, and fun.
  • Foster a love of learning through creative and engaging teaching methods.
  • Activities are adjustable to the interest and needs of the children.
• Classroom Management:
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Manage daily routines and transitions smoothly.
  • Address behavioral issues with positive guidance and support.
• Health and Safety:
  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Professional Development:
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share ideas and strategies.
