Job summary

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a Twos Assistant Teacher for our early childhood education team. We guide curious toddlers through hands-on experiences that support language development, exploration, and social growth in a nurturing, safe environment.

You will create engaging activities, model kindness and problem-solving, maintain routines, and build strong relationships with families while collaborating with co-teachers and school leaders to maintain a supportive classroom culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping children learn through play and exploration.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support each child's development.
• Foster social-emotional growth by modeling kindness, patience, and problem-solving.
• Maintain consistent routines that help toddlers feel secure as they grow more independent.
• Build meaningful relationships with families through daily communication and collaboration.

Education

CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education
