Job summary

Middlebury College, with Connecticut College and Williams College, offers a two-year C3 Postdoctoral Fellowship starting fall 2014. Fellows will be affiliated with a department and teach two one-semester courses per year, and engage with mentors and undergraduates. Salary is $44,000 yearly, plus a $10,000 research allowance and $3,000 travel allowance per year for two years; health and dental benefits provided.

Eligible: U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are Ph.D.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are Ph.D. candidates at UC Berkeley or Columbia in participating fields.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion; underrepresented groups encouraged.
• ABD status with degree expected before start; eligibility years 2011–2014.

Responsibilities

• Teach two one-semester courses per year; mentor undergraduates and collaborate with faculty across three colleges.
