Job summary

Discovery Point - Buford is seeking a Childcare Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in planning lessons and guiding activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in young children. You will help maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and follow the approved curriculum.

Work hours include MWF 2p-6p and Tu/Th 10a-6p, with opportunities for advancement, paid time off, training & development, competitive salary, employee discounts, and a flexible

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain CPR/Fire Safety and other required training.
• Must be able to meet all state requirements for Assistant Teachers.

Role

Childcare 2 year old Assistant Teacher

MWF 2p-6p, Tu/Th 10a-6p

As a Discovery Point Childcare Assistant Teacher, you will assist the lead teacher with planning lessons and instructing children in activities according to the approved child care curriculum designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.

Childcare Assistant Teacher Qualifications:
