Job summary

Thrive Education Partners seeks an experienced tutor to support two school-aged siblings in Centennial, CO. You will provide one-on-one academic support, address gaps, and foster executive-functioning skills while building confidence and independence.

The role emphasizes consistent weekly sessions, a clear academic plan, and proactive communication with the family to tailor instruction for two learners at different development stages.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students.
• Ability to identify gaps and develop an intentional plan to address them.
• Experience building executive-functioning skills.
• Ability to tailor instruction for two students at different levels.
• Strong organization, dependability, and weekly consistency.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one academic support for two students based on their needs and goals.
• Identify and address gaps in foundational knowledge and skills.
• Support executive-functioning development, including organization, planning, time management, study skills, and assignment management.
• Help students become active, confident, and independent learners.
• Develop bridge activities to reinforce key skills for upcoming demands.
• Adjust instruction based on progress and school expectations.
• Build strong relationships with families and communicate progress and recommendations.
