Job summary

CarMax is hiring a Vehicle Delivery Driver in the Kansas City area. You will drive a company truck to deliver vehicles, handle load/unload, complete home-delivery paperwork, and hand over keys with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include 21+, Class B CDL preferred with appropriate endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll work outdoors in varying weather and must obtain a DOT Medical Card within 28 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 with a valid driver’s license.
• 1+ year of customer service experience and 1+ year of delivery driving experience.
• Clean driving record; no more than 6 penalty points in 3 years.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and operate a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Operate a two-car hauler to deliver vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Load, transport, and unload vehicles at designated locations.
• Facilitate home delivery transactions and handoff of keys.
• Provide outstanding customer service with professional interaction.
• Perform condition checks and verify vehicles meet cosmetic standards.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain logs and documentation per company requirements.
