Alongside a manager who will help coordinate and lead operations, you’ll help oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and help where needed. **Job Responsibilities**

  1. Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes).
  2. Direct daily activities.
  3. Maintain food production standards to ensure safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
  4. Ensure safe, organized, and hazard-free storage of food items.
  5. Maintain serving schedules; ensure all food items are served per menu specifications following company policies.
  6. Ensure the department complies with health and safety codes and regulations.
  7. Maintain accurate inventory records weekly.
  8. Prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production levels.
  9. Supervise, evaluate, counsel, and promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
  10. Maintain a safe working environment free from hazards.
  11. Train and mentor other food service workers.
  12. Keep logs on equipment maintenance and food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions when necessary.
  13. Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment replacements.
  14. Proficiency in multitasking.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
  16. Fill in for absent employees as needed.
  17. Coordinate and confirm readiness for catering events, including occasional night and weekend work.
  18. Attend staff meetings and maintain communication via various channels.
  19. Perform cashier duties if required.
  20. Promote positive public relations.
  21. Adapt to changing job duties to meet organizational commitments.

**Qualifications**

  • Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
  • Complete a sanitation course before or during the first year.
  • Knowledge of efficient, cost-effective program operation.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Maintain emotional control under stress.
  • Resolve interpersonal situations effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills.
