Glanbia Dairy Nutrition in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager - Cheese to lead manufacturing operations and drive safety, quality, and efficiency. You will develop the plant leadership team and partner across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and HR.

The role requires strategic execution, strong people leadership, and accountability for plant performance, with after-hours support during outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of related leadership experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Strong manufacturing operations and people leadership background.
• Understanding of TPM, continuous improvement or similar methodologies.
• Working knowledge of food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical data and financial reports to guide decisions.
• Strong root-cause problem-solving, prioritization and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication across all levels and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coaching to plant personnel and develop a high-performing leadership team.
• Sustain daily management processes, drive accountability and performance.
• Meet production schedules, throughput targets and facility standards.
• Lead GPS, TPM and continuous improvement to reduce losses and boost performance.
• Ensure quality and food safety systems (HACCP, SQF, SOPs, GMPs).
• Lead safety programs, incident reviews and foster a safety-first culture.
• Manage financial performance and inventory to meet budget expectations.
• Lead root-cause investigations for operational and customer issues.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and environmental permits.
• Develop business cases for CAPEX and manage projects end-to-end.
• Advance maintenance and reliability programs across the plant.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen engagement and culture.
